The Winlock FFA students did an amazing job at this year's Southwest Washington Fair!
Showmanship Classes Results (classes where they judge the animal and their person and how well they work together):
Beef: Eva earned Reserve Grand Champion Novice Showman
Sheep: Maggie got first place in her class of novice showman for sheep
Poultry: Eva and Maggie made it in to the finals for senior chicken Showmanship, Maggie won Grand Champion Senior Chicken Showman
Dakota competed and won Grand Champion Senior Turkey Showman
Kylee won Grand Champion Novice Turkey Showman and Gracie won Reserve Grand Champion Novice Turkey Showman
Peter Meziere won Grand Champion Senior Dairy Goat Showman, and then competed against the winner of the meat goats and won the title of Overall Grand Champion Goat Showman. At the champion of a large animal species he competed against all other large animals overall champions in Master Showman where they all show other animals. Peter showed a beef steer, dairy cow, a pig, and a sheep, along with goats
Maycee won Grand Championship Novice Dairy Goat Showman

Maycee won a Grand Championship ribbon for her dairy goat
Peter won several Grand Champion ribbons for his meat and dairy goats
Rabbit: Gracie won Grand Champion
Gracie won Grand Champion market turkey and Eva won Reserve Grand Champion market turkey meaning they were both showcased in the ring of champion where they present their animal to all their peers
Market sale:
Eva, Gracie, Kylee, and Dakota each sold a turkey. John and Peter sold market goat, and Maggie sold a turkey, all together the kids collectively made over $4000 on auction night!
