We would love to have you join us to discuss the organization of the Winlock Miller Elementary PTA on October 4th at 5:00 - 6:00 pm in the WMES Library. We will be reviewing the requirements of a PTA and state laws. We will also review the next steps to establish a PTA for WMES moving forward. We would love to develop a strong core of parent support to allow our PTA to thrive and support the students of WMES. Masks and social distancing required. 6th Grade/Middle School New Student Transition: August 23rd from 4-5:30 pm. All 6th grade and new students to the Middle School are encouraged to attend this event. The focus will be on tips for success, the importance of attendance, course and club descriptions, handbook review, campus tours and team building activities. There will also be prizes and snacks at this event! Students will receive their schedules and 1:1 devices during this time. Parents are welcome to attend. Freshman/High School New Student Transition: August 23rd from 5:30-7:00 pm. All Freshman and new students to the High School are encouraged to attend this event. The focus will be on tips for success, the importance of attendance, course and club/sport descriptions, graduation credits/pathways, handbook review, campus tours, and team building activities. There will also be prizes and snacks at this event! Students will receive their schedules and 1:1 devices during this time. Parents are welcome to attend.

Fall sports for Middle and High school students is right around the corner! Parent meeting for HS Football will be Tuesday August 17th at 6:00 pm at the HS Football field. MS/HS Volleyball parent meeting Monday August 16th at 6 pm in the HS gym. MS/HS Cross Country parent meeting will be at 4 pm on Monday August 17th in the HS commons.
